I’m a northeast boy getting his first taste of southern living. Here’s what I’ve noticed so far: there’s a Bojangles on every corner, sweet tea seems to be the official drink of the south, and I no longer need my heavy winter coats here in Charlotte.
I started at Fox46 in June of 2015 after nearly 3 years as a sports anchor/reporter with News10 ABC/Fox23 in Albany, New York. Before that I was a general assignment reporter with NBC40 just outside of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Some people may refer to it as the Las Vegas of the east coast. After living near AC for a year and a half, I’d say those people are wrong.
I grew up in East Brunswick, NJ, attended Villanova University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Communications, then Syracuse University where I received my master’s in Broadcast & Digital Journalism. Yes, my schools were both Big East members—the real Big East—before conference realignment ruined everything.
Growing up a Philadelphia sports fan has brought me nothing but heartache, so I’m excited to cover Charlotte sports that will hopefully produce some great stories and moments.
In my free time, when I’m not trying to rekindle my failed basketball and soccer careers, I love to listen to music, go to the movies, or binge watch shows on Netflix.
