Dugan hails from the the Fox family in Philadelphia at WTXF where she reported for two years on Fox29's #GoodDayWeekend morning newscast.  She worked on the breaking news coverage of the #PopeinPhilly announcement from the Vatican. She also reported at in the Breaking News department and worked as a contributor for ESPNU. She covered the NCAA 2016 Final Four and National Championship with ESPNU Campus Connections and Villanova University.

Dugan graduated from Villanova University, with a major in Communication, specialization in Journalism, and minor in Writing and Rhetoric.  She is pursuing her Master's Degree in Communication and Journalism from Villanova and she was named a New York Women in Communication (NYWICI) 2016 Scholar for her graduate studies.

Dugan’s notable local news packages include a report on transgender rights in Philadelphia and veteran suicide prevention federal legislation. Her report on the endangered Vets 4 Warriors program was used in a plea for funding to the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington D.C. that was granted by Governor Chris Christie.

Dugan continued her coverage on the preparations for Pope Francis’ first papal visit to the U.S. and the 2015 Philadelphia World Meeting of Families Vatican conference that she started from the Vatican in 2014. Dugan worked as Fox29’s Vatican Correspondent where she also covered the controversial discussions on same sex marriage and communion for divorced Catholics in the 2014 Extraordinary Synod of Bishops.  Dugan also freelanced for Catholic News Services in Philadelphia and Italy and produced a documentary series "Through Youthful Eyes."

She interned at WCAU NBC10 Philadelphia and Villanova Athletics where she broadcasted play-by-play coverage for various varsity teams on Nova Nation All-Access Radio. At Villanova, Dugan served as General Manager of Villanova Television for 3 years.

Dugan is New Jersey native. She has lived and studied in Greece and Italy and traveled to nine countries. She is a member of New York Women in Communications and Alpha Phi sorority, and spends her free time running and swimming. Dugan is a big college basketball and football fan, and is excited to call Carolina her new home!!
