Creamy Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Appetizer
2 Oz Goat Cheese
2 Oz Mascarpone (Cream Cheese is a good substitute)
8 Oz Cannizzaro Marinara or Cannizzaro Arrabbiata
1 Small Ciabatta Bread (A Baguette or Italian Loaf are great too!)
Spray a small, oven proof shallow dish.
Whip together the 2 cheeses (room temperature is easier), form in to a ball and refrigerate for about 10 minutes
Pour Cannizzaro Marinara in to dish.
Place cheese mixture in the center of the Marinara.
Bake at 400̊ for 10-15 minutes, or until bubbly and hot.
While it bakes, cut your bread lengthwise and spray lightly with Olive Oil.
Cut in to triangle shaped pieces (big enough to dip!) and lightly toast in oven.
Place the toast points around the edge of your dip and serve – making sure you get that hot, melty cheese & lots of sauce on each bite!
Stuffed Turkey Meatballs
1 16-20 Oz Package of 93% Lean Ground Turkey
1 Cup Bread Crumbs (Make Your Own Healthier Version! Pulse Leftover Whole Wheat Bread In Your Food Processor!)
½ Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
3 Tbls Dried Minced Onion or Fresh Minced Onion
1 Beaten Egg
8 oz Diced Fresh Mozzarella
1 Jar Cannizzaro Marinara or Arrabbiata
Mix together all ingredients through egg until just combined. Rinse hands and leave them wet. Gently roll meatballs – about 2” in circumference and place on cookie sheet. Insert a piece of mozzarella in to the center of each meatball making sure it is surrounded by meat. Bake at 400̊ for 25 minutes.
Serve over your favorite pasta & Cannizzaro Sauce OR…Put in your crock pot and cover with your favorite Cannizzaro Sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and nosh all day!
