Daily Special: Sliced Ribeye Sandwich

5 oz ribeye cap (spinalus)

1/4 white or yellow onion caramelized

2 slices monterey jack cheese

1/2 tsp steak seasoning (salt, black pepper, fennel seed, mustard seed, red pepper flake, garlic powder, onion flakes)

1 8" hoagie roll

1.) thinly slice and caramelize onion in saute pan (slowly cook for about 30 minutes stirring occasionally)

2.) slice the steak into slices about 1/8 inch wide

3.)season steak with steak seasoning and cook to just under desired temperature in saute pan

4.) add caramelized onions and top with monterey jack cheese

5.) toast hoagie roll

6.) place steak, onions and cheese in hoagie roll

top with your favorite steak sauce if desired.
