Smoked Q Salmon with Jalepeno Slaw

Smoked Q Salmon

1 side salmon, approx. 2-2 ½ lbs.  

Salt & Pepper, to taste

¼ cup Grape Seed or Olive Oil 

Smoking Pouch

1/3 cup favorite Q sauce

Simple Jalapeno Slaw

4 cups Favorite Prepared Slaw

2  Jalapenos

1/3 cup PnHQ Vinegar Q

1 ea. Banana Pepper

Directions for Salmon:

Cut salmon into preferred portion sizes, in an oiled 9x9 baking dish

Add salmon, brush lightly with oil and sprinkle salt & pepper over top.

Place pan in preheated 235° oven, uncovered, on middle shelf with
smoke pouch placed near elements. (NOT ON THEM, USE FAN)

Cook for approx. 30 – 40 mins. till salmon temp reaches min. 145°.

Let stand for 5-10 mins and then brush with Q sauce and ENJOY

TIP: As presented drizzle with Spicy Mayo and top with Salsa

Directions for Jalepeno Slaw

Cut stems from Jalapenos & Banana Pepper and chop fine.

Mix with Vinegar Q and let sit for 1-2 hours to blend.

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients well.

If needed, add more Vin Q Sauce/BBQ Sauce for preferred flavor “bite”.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.
