Lincolnton puts bars on the ballot

- People in Lincolnton will have a chance to vote on whether or not bars will be able to open in town.

A measure on the June 7 primary ballot could allow for stand-alone bars to only sell beer and other malt beverages.

Right now, restaurants can sell drinks if they can seat 40 people and 30% of sales come from food.

The town hasn't had stand-alone bars in more than 50 years.
