The Hornets are back in Charlotte as they continue their 2016 play-off run, but the team’s success this year isn’t the only buzz around town.
The NBA announced it’s reserving the right to consider moving the All-Star game from Charlotte because of HB 2.
“It is discriminatory towards the LGBT community. Hopefully they do overturn it, but I hope they keep the all-star game here regardless.” Hornets fan, Blair Snipes, said.
While some NBA fans say the game should remain in the Queen City, other say they aren’t surprised to hear the league may move it.
“You have to move it. It’s not only more than likely the right thing to do it’s also politically correct.” Kenno Whitfield, said.
