LANCASTER, SC - Four men were taken into custody on drug charges after deputies busted their trafficking operation, according to Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Bobrentay Levelle Jackson, 24, Bryon Laqentin Stevens, 26, Ernest Wadell Crosby, 50 and Korickio Tonquavius Cunnigham, 20, all of Lancaster are charged with trafficking cocaine and trafficking crack cocaine 10-28 grams, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Friday, June 24, in the 200 block of West Hood Street, Lancaster.
Deputies said they found approximately 28 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of crack cocaine, and 20 ounces of marijuana along with three sets of digital scales and multiple containers of empty plastic bags. A 9 mm rifle, two assault weapon drum magazines, three handgun magazines, and various ammunitions were also seized, according to authorities.
“Based upon the intelligence gathered during this investigation, we knew this was a high risk operation,” said Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile. “We prepared well and executed the warrant flawlessly and without any injuries to anyone. All suspects were captured, and a substantial quantity of illegal drugs was taken off the streets.”
Officers said Jackson also had $1,528.00 on his person, which was taken into evidence. Additional drug charges are expected to be made on Jackson and Stevens relating to an earlier investigation.
