HARRISBURG - The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office is investigating after two banks off N.C. Highway 49 were robbed in Harrisburg on Saturday morning.
Officers say at 10:47 a.m. the Wells Fargo Bank was robbed and ten minutes later, the Fifth Third Bank was robbed.
Police say the suspect is described as a black male in his late twenties or early thirties and approximately 5'7" to 5'10" tall with an average build.
They say he was wearing dark sunglasses, a fitted black head covering, white pants and a gray Nike long-sleeved sweatshirt over a white shirt at one location. At other locations, he was seen wearing a royal blue long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt or jacket over a white shirt.
No one was injured and no weapons were displayed.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 will be given for those who come forward with details on the suspect.
