Raleigh mall reopens after reports of gunfire

Police are still investigating after reports of gunfire were made at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh on Saturday afternoon that sent shoppers running from the mall or led them to hide inside stores.

WRAL reports authorities sealed off the mall and closed all access roads.

Police say they found no gunshot victims or spent casings from bullets.

The Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh posted on its website that it reopened on Sunday from noon until 7 p.m.

The site said that people who rushed from the mall leaving personal belongings behind on Saturday afternoon could claim them in the mall's community room beginning at noon.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
