NASA is experimenting with new 4K video technology in space. The video, which captures images four times the resolution of current high definition technology, is being considered as an observation tool for future experiments.
In a video posted to YouTube Friday, astronaut Scott Kelly can be seen playing with a droplet of water suspended in the air. He then adds food coloring and a tablet to the substance.
The ultra high definition video captures bubbling inside the green droplet, which sheds off smaller droplets as the droplet fizzes.
