Asking Siri to charge your phone may call 911

Asking Siri to charge your iPhone could cause the device to call 911, according to reporting by The Verge.

Apple users first took to Twitter to warn the command, "Siri, charge my phone 100 percent," prompted the device to call emergency services. It reportedly gives the user 5 seconds to cancel the auto-dial.

Published reports say Apple has not yet responded to request for comment. It is unclear whether this is a bug or an otherwise unknown feature to allow users to call for help without raising attention.
