CMS Board of Education Passes Budget

The CMS Board of Education unanimously voted to pass the budget Superintendent Ann Clark proposed last month.

CMS identified three priorities in its proposed budget including: literacy, recruiting and retaining top-quality employees with competitive salaries, and social and emotion support for students, according to CMS.

The budget will add $6 million into literacy programs and education for students and more than $9 million will go to boost employees salaries.
