Craigslist deal leads to armed robbery

An armed robbery occurred in Rock Hill after a Craigslist deal went wrong.

Rock Hill Officers responded to Stones Crossing Apartments Tuesday morning where they found the victim in the parking lot unharmed, according to police.

The victim told police three men robbed him at gunpoint when he went there to purchase cell phones. The men took his cellphone and an undisclosed amount of cash and left, according to police.

Officers brought in a K-9 that tracked to the Old Heather Heights apartment complex where they arrested two suspects and recovered a gun, according to police. Officers say Drakkar Griffin and Cameron Brown will be charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

This is an ongoing investigation and there could be more charges, according to Rock Hill Officers. Officers say they are not sure if there is a third suspect.
