$25K reward offered to find hit-and-run driver who killed cyclist in Union County

- A $25,000 reward is being offered to find a hit-and-run driver who killed a cyclist in Union County as nearly two weeks have passed since the tragic incident. 

Jeff Masingill was riding his bike on Rocky River Road near Newton Road on Saturday afternoon, July 21 when he was struck and killed by a vehicle. 

Masingill was an executive at Cyril Bath, a world leader in forming technologies for the commercial and military Aerospace industry. The owners and management team are offering a $20,000 reward that leads to the arrest of the driver responsible for the accident.

Union County Crime Stoppers is also offering up to $5,000 for the arrest, bringing the total up to a possible $25,000. “We are thrilled to be working with Cyril Bath and amazed at their generous financial contribution toward helping solve this crime," Crime Stoppers President Reid Helms said. 

“Jeff was a dynamic leader of our company, whose impact will be ongoing. We just want to help bring some closure to this tragedy for his family as well as the Cyril Bath family," Jeff Mitteer with Cyril Bath said.
