Deputies looking for Catawba Co. man who shot at woman's vehicle

- The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office are looking for a Catawba County man charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle Wednesday night on Highway 274 in western Lincoln County.

The victim told deputies she had gone to Dan's Superette on Highway 27 West to put gas in her car. When she pulled up she noticed a man siting in a pickup truck staring at her. She decided to go to another gas station but noticed the man followed her. She tried to get away from him by driving south on Highway 274 then turning around and driving north, but he continued to follow her.

The victim told deputies the man in the pickup truck passed her on Highway 274 and fired a shot into the her car. The victim stopped in the drive of a home on the 1300 block of Highway 274, waited behind the residence, called 911 and waited for a deputy.

Deputies found the suspect vehicle on Tommy's Welding Shop Road. Two women were in the truck who told the officers that Bobby Lee Fish, Jr., the owner of the truck was driving when they arrived and he left in another vehicle.

Warrants have been attained for Fish, 35, for one felony count each of discharging a weapon into an occupied moving vehicle and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill.
