Amtrak is stepping up its security in response to the terror attacks in Brussels.
The passenger rail service is partnering with local, state and federal law enforcement.
Travelers will see an increase in security at stations, on trains, and along the tracks. Anyone who sees anything out of the ordinary is asked to contact Amtrak police.
There are 18 Amtrak stations in North Carolina, including one right here in Charlotte.
