Huntersville victims identified in fatal Tennesse helicopter crash

Two of the five victims in Monday's fatal helicopter crash in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee have been identified as local's from Huntersville, North Carolina.

Peyton Rasmussen, 22, and Parker Rasmussen, 18, of Huntersville were identified by the Pigeon Force Police Department. 

The other three victims have been identifed as Jason Dahl, 38, of Sevierville, TN, Johna Morvant, 49, of Kodak, TN, and Michael Glenn Mastalez, 21, of Prosper, Texas. 

The Bell 206 helicopter crashed about 3:30 p.m. Monday near Sevierville, Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said in an email. Officials said the tourist helicopter was destroyed by fire after the crash.

"There's not much left of the helicopter," Pigeon Forge Police Chief Jack Baldwin said. "It's pretty much gone from the fire."
