Carjacking victim says suspects threatened to shoot her

- Detectives with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have charged a 15-year-old for his involvement in a carjacking/pursuit on Brookshire Blvd.

The juvenile has been charged with possession of stolen vehicle, fleeing to elude, driving without a license and resisting arrest.

FOX 46 spoke with one of the carjacking victims who said, "I was sitting in a car with my friend. All of a sudden two guys just ran up on my driver side, pulled a gun to my head and told me to get out the car. If not, they're going to shoot me."

The accident happened just before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, involving multiple vehicles and shut down Brookshire Blvd. at Interstate-77. 

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, officers located a suspect vehicle that was taken in a carjacking at Rozzelles Ferry Road and West Trade Street.  

Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the suspect vehicle fled. 

During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle collided with two other vehicles at Idaho Drive and Brookshire Boulevard. 

Two people in the suspect vehicle were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger from one of the vehicles hit was transported as a precaution with minor injuries.
