14-year-old charged with threatening to shoot up Salisbury High

A 14-year-old student is facing charges in connection to threats made on social media against Salisbury High School last week.

Salisbury Police say the threat was a copycat of one that occurred in Ohio. The student changed his old Facebook account to mirror the name used in the original threat.

On February 22, a person going by the name of Ray Andres posted on Facebook that: “I will not being telling people what my name is, but I will bring a gun to school Tomorrow, so be prepared to hear shoots.” Ten minutes later, the same account posted a status stating that SHS is the school that he was targeting.
