CHARLOTTE, NC (WJZY) - The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a missing person investigation involving Hailey Burns.
Officers said they responded to a missing person call at 8:28 a.m. Monday, May 23 in the 17000 block of Baldwin Hall Drive in the South Division.
The mother told police her daughter, Hailey, was last seen at the home around 12:30 a.m. Monday, May 23.
Hailey has not made contact with family members since then and there is concern for her safety.
Hailey is described as a white female, 5'5" tall, around 130 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black long sleeve t-shirt with Marilyn Monroe on it and Converse tennis-shoes.
There is information that Hailey left on her own accord. It is unclear if she had assistance by others or if she is still in the Charlotte area.
