ROCK HILL, SC (WJZY) - A York man is facing numerous charges including murder in the shooting death of a 21-year-old man, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Officers said just after 4 a.m. on May 7 they were called to 330 Workman Street in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim, later identified as Jason Adon, 21, outside the apartments dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Through the course of the investigation detectives identified Marquise Anton Cole, 23, of York, SC, as the suspect.
On Wednesday, May 25, at approximately 10 a.m. investigators with the Rock Hill Police Department arrested Cole without incident.
Cole was booked into the Rock Hill Detention Center where he faces charges of Murder, Possession of Firearm during Commission of Crime of Violence, and Possession of Stolen Pistol.
Detectives said they're still working on this investigation, however they're not searching for additional suspects.
Cole will have his first bond hearing at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, May 26 in the Rock Hill Municipal Court.
