1 of 4 students accused of assault on Harding employee to be released

- New information has been released on the investigation into the brutal fight that broke out at Harding High School with a school employee caught in the middle of it.

One of the four students charged, 19-year-old Honesty Williams, appeared in court Monday.

FOX 46 Charlotte was there for her first appearance. No one stood up for her before the judge.

Her bond was unsecured which means she'll be allowed out of jail Monday evening. Williams will be back in court July 13, 2016.

The other three Harding University High School students charged with assault on a school employee include 18-year-old Kiyanna Barnes, 18-year-old Shaquila Hill, and 16-year-old Carmonte Barnes. They are set to appear in court Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

Both Kiyanna Barnes and Honesty Williams have prior assault charges dating back to the same day six months ago.

FOX 46 Charlotte went by Williams' apartment and family members told us they didn't have anything to say about the video of the fight or the court proceedings.
