UPDATE: Police arrest 2 in connection with stabbing in Rock Hill, SC

- UPDATE (5 p.m. 6/20/2016): Officers said two people were arrested in connection with a stabbing Monday morning in Rock Hill, SC.

Skyler Childres, 23, of Rock Hill, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Officers were called out to the 1300 block of Saluda Street about 7:30 a.m. in reference to a stabbing at a trailer park. They said a man in his mid-20’ was stabbed in the chest. The victim was flown to CMC-Main for potentially life-threatening injuries.

During the investigation, a woman living in the house was found to have prescription medication in her possession that was not hers. A child was also residing in the house with her, police said.

Amber Allman, 24, is charged with unlawful possession of a prescription drug and unlawful conduct toward a child.

The child was turned over to South Carolina Department of Social Services.

Both Childers and Allman have bond hearings set for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Rock Hill Police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened Monday morning.

Officers were called out to the 1300 block of Saluda St. around 7:30 a.m. in reference to a stabbing at a trailer park.

A man believed to be in his mid 20's was stabbed in the chest and flown to CMC-Main with potential life threatening injuries, according to police.

This is an active investigation.
