Second suspect accused of murder of Salisbury mother arrested

- UPDATE: 8/18/16 (9:00 a.m.): A second suspect in the Lacynda Feimster murder has been arrested.

Daniel Albarran, 31, was charged with murder on Wednesday. He was placed in the Rowan Co. Detention Center under no bond. 

His first court appearance has been set for Friday.

Sindy Lina Abbitt was arrested at the end of June for the murder of Feimster.

Salisbury Police were called out to the 300 block of Crown Point Dr. in reference to a home invasion where someone was shot on Tuesday, May 24.

Officers found 38-year-old Lacynda Diane Feimster who was found dead inside her home. Lacynda's mother was hit in the face with a weapon and taken to Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released.

Salisbury Police have arrested Sindy Lina Abbitt, 33, for the murder of a mother of four, according to police.

Abbitt was charged with first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon. 

Police say she turned herself in Thursday morning and was placed in the RC Detention Center under no bond. Her first appearance has been set for Friday, June 24.

Lacynda had three girls and one son. She worked at O'Charley's and was preparing to put a down payment on a home, according to her family.
