Burglar foiled by young girls still at large in SC

Police are looking for a man they said burglarized two residences Friday in Fort Mills, SC

Officers with the Fort Mill Police Department responded to a 911 call about 10:17 a.m. on Sunland Drive. The caller, a 13-year-old girl, told police that she and her sister were sleeping upstairs when they were awakened by someone opening the door to their room.

She told police a man came into the doorway, but took off once he realized the sisters were there.

Police also advised that the same man is wanted for a burglary at a nearby apartment on Sunland Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male last seen driving off in a black Toyota Corolla with North Carolina license plate.
