CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have charged Cameron McVay and Marteries Southern for their involvement in a shooting at a club in South End at the end of May.
The shooting happened in the 200 block of E. Bland Street on Thursday, May 26.
Police say Southern was found and arrested on Thursday, June 23 and on Thursday, June 30, McVay was found and arrested.
McVay and Southern have been charged with attempted first degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

On May 26, officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call, where they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medic took the man to CMC with life-threatening injuries.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say it happened around 2:30 A.M. in the 200 block of E. Bland Street, in South End.
Initial information gathered on scene indicates that there was an altercation between several people in the Oak Room that continued into the parking lot of Gin Mill and Tavern on the Tracks.
