Police: Man robs Jimmy John's at gunpoint

- The Huntersville Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say robbed a local Jimmy John's at gunpoint. 

Officers said the incident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at the Jimmy John's Sandwich Shop located at 14311 Reese Boulevard. 

The unknown suspect, brandishing a firearm, entered the store just after closing and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The suspect is described as a black male in his late twenties, 5’ 7”, 150 lbs., wearing blue pants, dark shirt, black boots and had sunglasses and a bandana over his face. The man fled the scene is an unknown direction.
