Woman arrested after breaking into business in Burke County

- The Burke County Sheriff's Office has arrested a local woman after they said she broke into a local business.

The incident happened Wednesday, August 19, at Southern Legacy on 3640 Hwy 18 South.

Deputies said they responded to the area after the businesses alarm went off. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the door to the business open and asked Emergency Communications Center to notify the business owner.
