Community comes together to mourn the loss of 3-year-old Jordyn Dumont

- A community is picking up the pieces.

"I think it's about the unity and the Bible speaks highly of unity."

Each candle representing a heart that's broken after 3-year-old Jordyn Dumont's life was taken from her.

The child was reported missing on Monday.

"Everybody has poured out their hearts here for the last three days."

And by Tuesday her body was found in the wood near her home. Hundreds of people gathered Wednesday night for a candlelight vigil, including Jordyn's biological father who lives out of state.

"And to be able to show their respect to the family."

"Really just kind of loss at words right now."

While people are taking this time to remember the 3-year-old, there's still an investigation.

The boyfriend of her mother, Billy McCullen, is charged with her murder. Plenty of people at the vigil said they're close with the accused.

"I just can't wrap my mind around it. He's played with my daughter, he's played with my friend's daughters."

But on this night, it's all about prayers for little Jordyn, and a community trying to pick itself back up.

"This is a horrific crime and it has shocked this community to its foundation."
