CHESTER CO., NC (WJZY) - 911 calls were released Wednesday to FOX 46 Charlotte in the case of a mother allegedly killing her infant son by locking him in the refrigerator.
"Chester 911...'Yes, I need somebody to come'"
The 911 calls surround Angela Blackwell, who is facing murder by child abuse charges for allegedly killing her son.
"Baby not breathing, little baby not breathing, newborn baby not breathing."
A 911 call from their home appears to have a frantic caller. Family of Blackwell said she is innocent, stating they believe an autistic child who was visiting family in February when the incident occurred may have done it.
"He showed his friend how it happened. He picked the baby up, took it to the refrigerator, put it in the refrigerator and closed the door," one family member said.
The Chester County Coroner's Office said the infant died of hypothermia and asphyxiation from being in the fridge.
The 911 operator gave CPR instructions over the phone, then the calls says the infant started to move a bit.
"Baby's not breathing?"
"He's moving a little bit now..."
