IREDELL CO., NC (WJZY) - A Salisbury woman is facing multiple drug charges after deputies said they were called to a home for a reported overdose.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened on Tuesday, August 23 along Canvasback Road.
During the course of the investigation a search warrant was obtained and executed at the home where a large amount of cocaine and heroin was found.
Deputies said Morgan Nicholson, 22, of Salisbury, who had been with the victim confessed to doing cocaine and heroin with the victim when they overdosed.
A search of Nicholson’s purse by deputies revealed that she was concealing heroin and paraphernalia.
Nicholson was arrested for possession of schedule one and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center on a $3,500 secured bond.
