$1M winning Powerball ticket sold in Mecklenburg County

- Powerball players should double check their tickets. While nobody won the jackpot Wednesday night, a winning ticket worth $1 million was sold in Mecklenburg County.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Food Lion on North Main Street in Cornelius. The $2 ticket matched all five white balls.

The winning numbers were 21-31-64-65-67 for the white balls and five for the Powerball. Winners have 180 days to collect their prize.

North Carolinian’s next chance to win comes Saturday night. The jackpot is an annuity of $266 million or $176.2 million cash.

Odds of matching all six numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
