Biden visiting CPCC on Monday

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Monday morning Vice President Joe Biden will be in Charlotte on the campus of Central Piedmont Community College.

It's just one of the spots he will be making in our area Monday. Biden will be helping a group that backs Democratic candidates for governor like Attorney General Roy Cooper.

Biden was the big-named guest in the Raleigh area at a private fundraiser Monday for the Democratic Governors Association. Meanwhile Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, was expected to hold a rally early Monday evening in Asheville's downtown arena.

The White House says Biden would talk about efforts by President Barack Obama's administration to help businesses and community colleges expand the middle class. Obama and Biden leave office in January.
