WANTED: Officials looking for suspect accused of shooting Charlotte man five times

- Officials are looking for a suspect who shot a man five times and has ties to the "Folk Nation" street gang, according to  the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.

On Saturday, October 15, around 2:45 a.m. the sheriff's office responded to the 4000 block of Beatty Ford Road in regards to a shooting.

The victim, a 26-year-old from Charlotte told police he rode with another person, identified as the suspect, Keith Alexzander Harley,31, to Beatty Ford to visit a friend of Harley.

The victim told police he got out of the car, when Harley pulled out a handgun and began shooting him, as he ran.

The victim told police Harley shot at him multiple times, striking him five times. The victim was taken to CMC for treatment.

Authorities said Harley is also a resident of Charlotte and is known to be in the area of Independence Boulevard. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were notified as well.

Harley has been added to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted List and should be considered armed and dangerous. Felony warrants have been obtained for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.
