Veterans Day Free Meals & Deals 2016

Every November 11, restaurants and retailers prop open their doors and invite military service members in for free meals and other goodies.

Offers.com has put together an expansive list of freebies and deals veterans can take advantage of. 

If you're out and about on Friday, November 11, don't forget to say thank you to those who have served our country.

General Dining

Applebee’s – In honor of their services, veterans and active duty military get a free meal.

Bar Louie – On Friday, vets and active duty military can dine on a free food item of up to $12 in value. Valid for dine in only.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse – Vets and military service members can choose a free entree valued up to $12.95 with proof of service. All diners can enjoy $5 beers

Black Angus Steakhouse – Veterans and active duty personnel can tuck into a free Top Sirloin Steak Dinner. The dinner includes home-style mashed potatoes, garlic butter broccoli, and sweet molasses bread.

Bonanza Steakhouse – To celebrate Veterans Day, vets and active duty personnel can pile their plates high at a free steakhouse buffet.

California Pizza Kitchen – Guests with proof of service can select a free pizzeria entree from a special menu. The limited-time menu includes pizza, pasta, and salad.

CentraArchy Restaurants – Vets can head to anyone of the 19 CentraArchy Restaurants to get a free American meal. Fellow diners will receive 25% off their entree. Restaurants include California Dreaming, Gulfstream Cafe, and New York Prime.

Chevy’s Fresh Mex – From 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., vets and active military members can select a free Tex-Mex entree from a special menu. The menu includes the Fajita Burrito, Mesquite Grilled Tacos, and other Tex-Mex classics. Proof of service required.

Chicken Salad Chick – Vets can munch on a free Original Chick meal and beverage. The meal includes a chicken salad scoop or sandwich, side, pickle, and cookie.

Chili’s – Veterans, retirees, and active duty personnel can choose a free entree from a select menu on November 11.

Chipotle – From 3 p.m. – close, veterans, active duty members, and military spouses can buy one small burrito, bowl, or salad and get one free.

Chuck E Cheese – With a Uniformed Service I.D. or Common Access Card, current and former military personnel can gobble down a free personal pizza.

City Barbeque- will provide free sandwich platters to all military veterans and troops.

Fazoli’s – Veterans can create free Build Your Own Pasta Bowl with a choice of noodles, sauce, and toppings.

Fire+Ice – Diners with military I.D. or VetRewards card receive a free create-your-own-meal.

Friendly’s – Veterans and active duty members can dine on a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner this year.

Hickory Tavern – To honor military heroes for their service, vets and active duty members get 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a certificate for 20% off a future meal.

Green Mill – When former and active military members show proof of service, they get a free pizzeria menu item. The deal is valid for dine in only; pizza orders are limited to a small one-topping deep dish.

Golden Corral – Veterans and active duty personnel will be honored with a free meal and beverage.

HomeTown Buffet – Guests with proof of service can enjoy a free buffet and drinks.

Hooters – This Veterans Day, diners with proof of service can choose a free entree from an exclusive Veteran’s Day menu. The menu includes wings, burgers, sandwiches, and other Hooters favorites.

McCormick’s & Schmicks – Veterans can dig into a free lunch or dinner entree from a special menu on November 11. Veterans must provide proof of military service.

Mission BBQ – On November 11, current and retired service members can finish off their free sandwich with a free cake.

O’Charley’s – This November 11, Veterans and active duty members will be treated to a free meal.

Olive Garden – Current and former service members can choose a free meal from a select menu. Valid for dine in only; proof of service required.

On the Border – This year, veterans and active duty personnel can sample different dishes with a free Create Your Own Combo meal. The meal includes a choice of up three food items, including tacos, tostadas, and other Tex-Mex favorites. Proof of service required.

Outback Steakhouse – This year, all current and former service members with I.D. can enjoy two steakhouse specials:

* A free Bloomin’ Onion with a choice of beverage.

* 15% off the check for military personnel and their families from November 12 – December 31.

Ponderosa Steakhouses – From 4 p.m. – close, vets and active service members get access to a free buffet.

Red Hot & Blue Restaurants – On November 9, 10, and 11, guests can score a dine-in barbecue mealwith the purchase of two drinks and an entree of equal or higher price.

Red Robin – With a military I.D., vets and active duty members can sup on a Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Fries.

RibCrib – In honor of Veterans Day, vets and active military members can get a free Menu of Honor barbecue meal. The meal includes a choice of two meats and two sides.

Rock & Brews – Veterans, active duty, and first responders can score a free pulled pork sandwich.

Shoney’s – This year, vets and active duty military can chow down on a free All American Burger.

Sizzler – From open – 4 p.m., all current and former military members can pair a free steakhouse meal with a beverage. Entree choices include Tri Tip Steak and Malibu Chicken; beverage choices include fountain drinks, coffee, or tea.

Spaghetti Warehouse – Guests can print a buy one, get one free lasagna or spaghetti and meatballs coupon to be used on Veterans Day. Diners are encouraged to invite a veteran to lunch or dinner.

Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill – Guests with proof of service can create a free chicken or steak Fresh Market Bar. The Market Bar includes a soup, noodle, or rice stir-fry with a choice of produce and sauces.

Texas Steakhouse & Saloon – From 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., vets and active duty personnel can receive a free meal with I.D.

The Melting Pot – All military service members and their guests can take 20% off their billl.

Tijuana Flats – This year, current and former military members can feast on a free Tex-Mex meal.

Twin Peaks – In honor of the holiday, diners with valid military I.D. can choose free food item from the Annual Veterans Day Appreciation Menu.

Uno Pizzeria & Grill – Guests with valid military I.D. can get a free meal or personal pizza with the purchase of another free meal or personal pizza.

Zoe’s Kitchen – Customers with military I.D. can dine on a free Mediterranean-inspired meal this Veterans Day.

Breakfast and lunch

Bob Evans – To celebrate the holiday, current and former service members can dig their forks into a free breakfast all day long.

Denny’s – Active, inactive, and retired military personnel can build a free Grand Slam from 5 a.m. – 12 p.m. The breakfast includes a choice of four items, such as buttermilk pancakes, eggs, turkey bacon, sausage links, and english muffins.

IHOP – In honor of the holiday, veterans and active duty members get a stack of Red, White and Blue pancakes. Proof of service required.

Pizza Factory – When vets bring in a military I.D., they’ll be treated to a free pizzeria lunch.

Texas Roadhouse – Veterans and active duty members can dig into a free lunch on the holiday.

Eat ‘n Park – Veterans and active duty personnel can shower a free stack of pancakes in syrup on November 11.

Village Inn – All day long, vets and current service members can feast pick out a free breakfast with military I.D.

Appetizer and treats

Bonefish Grill – Veterans and active military can kick off their meal with a free Bang Shrimp Appetizer.

Carrabba’s – From November 7 – 13, vets and active military can receive a free appetizer. To get the deal, bring along a military I.D. or uniform.

Carrows Restaurants – Vets and active personnel can bring in their I.D. to receive a free slice of pie.

Coco’s Bakery – With military I.D., active and retired military personnel can indulge in a free slice of pie.

Cracker Barrel – Veterans can celebrate the holiday with a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca Cola Cake.

CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries – On Friday, veterans can treat themselves to a free appetizer.

Longhorn Steakhouse – Guests with proof of service can score a free steakhouse appetizer or dessert, plus 10% off for fellow diners.

Outback Roadhouse – Veterans receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage on November 11.

Red Lobster – Veterans and active duty military can visit to get a free appetizer or dessert on November 10 and 11.

Ruby Tuesday – Veterans and active duty personnel can begin their meal with a free appetizer on November 11.

Yard House – Active and retired military personnel can whet their appetite with a free dine-in appetizer.

Miscellaneous

Alfred Angelo – Military brides will be treated to 30% off bridal gowns.

Army Corps of Engineers – This Veterans Day, veterans, active and reserve component service members, and their families enjoy free admission to USACE-operated recreation areas. This includes access to lakes and river projects, as well as swimming beach and boat launch fees.

Brides Across America – During the month of November, Brides Across America is partnering with bridal salons across the nation to give away free wedding dresses to qualified military brides. All military brides must pre-register online.

Home Depot – This year, Home Depot is honoring Veterans Day with two specials:

* A free Build a Veteran’s Day Jet workshop for kids ages 5 -12. The event runs from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., and includes a craft, certificate of achievement, workshop apron, and commemorative pin while supplies last.

* A 10% discount on purchases.

Baskin-Robbins – For every ice cream scoop sold on Veterans Day, the brand will make an $.11 donation to the U.S.O..

Great Clips – Veterans can get a free haircut card. All customers who purchase a salon service may take home a haircut card to give to a veteran. The card is valid from November 12 – December 31.

Hair Cuttery – Whenever a customer purchases a cut on Veterans Day, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a Veteran.

Lowe’s – On November 11, all veterans and their family can receive 10% off purchases.

Meineke – Vets and active duty personnel can receive a free basic oil change with proof of service.

Rack Room Shoes – In honor of Veterans Day, shoppers with valid military I.D. can take 10% off their purchase.

Sports Clips – At participating locations, veterans and current service members can score a free haircutwith proof of service.

The National Park Service – All visitors receive free admission to National Parks.

Top Golf – On November 11, guests with valid military I.D. can enjoy a complimentary Heroes Membership and 10% off game play.

UFC Gym – Veterans, active duty service members, and their families can enjoy free gym access and boot camp class from November 11 – November 13. The boot camp class will be held on November 12, and will include body-weight exercises suitable for all fitness levels.

Walgreens – This Veterans Day, customers with Walgreens Balance Rewards cards and valid military I.D. can take 20% off all eligible purchases.

Westgate Resorts – On Veterans Day, guests can get 25% off their rooms. In addition, military personnel and their families can apply for a free vacation package. The first 1,000 applicants will receive a complimentary three-day, two-night vacation for up to four people at Westgate Town Center Resort from May 5-7, 2017.

World of Coca-Cola – From November 3 – November 13, members of the Armed Forces get free admission, plus up to four half-price general admission tickets friends and family. Tickets may be purchased with a valid Armed Forces I.D. card.
