CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - Crews were able to quickly extinguish a fire that broke out Tuesday at an uptown high-rise in Charlotte that was still under construction.
Smoke could be seen from the roof located at 300 South Tryon.
Witnesses said the flames lasted only for about a minute or so. FOX 46 Charlotte is asking local firefighters how the fire started - and what exactly caught fire.
