Braylon Beam raises awareness on 'Mustard Challenge' to help kids with cancer

- Ever heard of the "Mustard Challenge"? Similar to the worldwide ALS “Ice Bucket Challenge,” the grassroots campaign is bringing greater awareness and funding towards children cancer.

Braylon Beam, former Panthers' honorary coach, Cam Newton's dance partner and an inspiration to many, was in the FOX 46 Charlotte studio Thursday morning, demonstrating and explaining what the mustard challenge is all about.

The campaign launched on April 15 and dares folks to “eat a spoonful of mustard, film themselves, share their videos on social media, and donate to mustardchallenge.com.”

All proceeds from the charity will go toward research for pediatric cancer, including the opportunity to create a collaborative Stand Up To Cancer Pediatric Cancer Dream Team.

FOX 46 Charlotte's Meterologist Kick Kosir challenged Panthers' Cam Newton to do the challenge next.
