Gastonia PD investigating two overnight shootings

- Gastonia Police are busy investigating two shootings that occurred in the city early Sunday morning.

The first shooting incident occurred around 12:04am in the parking lot at Bronco's Nightclub & Karaoke Bar at 2543 W Franklin Blvd. Police say the victim suffered from a superficial wound and was not transported to the hospital by GEMS. They could have been taken to the ER by personal vehicle, according to police.

The second incident occurred around 12:50am at the McDonald's at 2115 Union Rd. Police say this victim also had minor injuries and refused transport by Gaston EMS.  A gold colored Audi, belonging to the victim, was reportedly damaged during the ordeal.  Police have no suspect information available in either shooting at this time.

According to Gastonia Police, they believe the two incidents are related, but have no evidence to substantiate that.
