CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has arrested a woman in connection to the BB&T Bank robbery Monday in southeast Charlotte.
Shely DeAnne McClure has been charged in the case, police announced on Twitter.
Around 4 p.m. Monday, July 17, McClure entered the BB&T Bank located at 1710 Sardis Road North and approached a bank employee and proceeded to hand them a note demanding money. Upon receiving the property, McClure fled the scene.
McClure was taken into custody less than 24 hours later.
