Police: Teen wanted after robbing woman at gunpoint in Rock Hill

- The Rock Hill Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a teenager who they say attacked and robbed a woman at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. Thursday, July 27 in the 1300 block of Winthrop Drive.

Officers say the suspect, Zyon Crosby, 18, approached a woman as she was exiting her vehicle armed with a handgun. There were reportedly three other young men with Crosby during the attack.

The woman told police she dropped her belongings and fled the area on foot. As she was running one of the young men struck her in the back of the head. She was able to run to a neighbor's house for help and call 911.

Rock Hill police say Crosby should be considered 'armed and dangerous'. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911. If anyone has information on who the other people involved in the case might be, you're asked to call Crimestoppers of York County at 877-409-4321.
