Man flown to burn center after Concord house fire

- One man was flown to the hospital after an early Monday morning house fire in Concord, fire officials said. 

Firefighters were called out to a residence around 3 a.m. Monday, July 31 on Roberta Road following reports of smoke. 

Fire officials tell FOX 46 Charlotte they believe the fire started either in the bedroom or bathroom area. 

Fire officials said the man was transported to CMC Northeast and later flown out by helicopter to a burn center. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
