LANCASTER, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - UPDATE: Bond for Toni Lashay Gladden has been set at $60,000. Bond for Shazam Hayes was denied.
The mother of 2-year old Jacarion Gladden, Toni Lashay Gladden, 26, and her boyfriend, Shazam Hayes, 18, have been taken into custody, according to the Lancaster Police Department.

The two have been charged with unlawful conduct towards a child after the 2-year-old boy died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The coroner's office has released the identity of a 2-year-old boy who died Monday night in Lancaster as a result of his injuries.
Jacarion Antonia Gladden, of Lancaster, was shot in the chest about 7:30 p.m. Monday on East Dunlap Street. The shooting took place inside the house, police said.
State investigators appeared on scene shortly after 10 p.m. Monday. SLED agents could be seen walking around and through the property on East Dunlap Street. According to Lancaster City Police, SLED was in the area for a different investigation.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1 at the Coroner's Office in Lancaster County. This remains an open, ongoing investigation.
