CMPD request help identifying N. Charlotte shooter

- Detectives with CMPD are requesting help identifying suspects in a north Charlotte shooting from this morning. 

Around 11:20 a.m. officers responded to several reports of shots fired at the Food Lion at 7004 E. WT Harris Blvd. Calls indicated that a suspect in a dark colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, fired at another car, possibly a Volkswagen Passat, in the parking lot.

The male pictured in the red shirt returned fire at the vehicle before both vehicles fled the parking lot.

A victim that was sitting inside of his car in the parking lot at the time told police that his car was hit by one of the bullets. He was not injured. 

Detectives have collected evidence from the scene. No injuries have been reported following the incident.
