Still no decision made in second day of Citizen's Review Board hearing on Keith Lamont Scott

A few protestors back on hand with Wednesday marking day two for the Citizen Review Board discussing whether they agree with Chief Kerr Putney's findings that the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott was justified.

An advocacy group promoting police accountability, criminal justice reform  and community justice telling fox 46 they feel the hearing is going in the right direction.

"I think they are taking it extremely seriously," said Robert Dawkins with SAFE Coalition NC. "This is something we've been asking for since 2012 when we started working on the reform of the board. We're not even hoping the officer is found quality what we hoping for is that we get the first shot we feel we get justice."

Dawkins adds justice for them means showing transparency

"It would be for the attorney to come out and talk about the process they used and how they weighed their decision and for the public to be able to hear a lot of the things down back door," he said.

The board wrapped up their day around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday and will be back Thursday morning at 8:30
