FORT MILL, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Two men were arrested on July 7 in connection to a burglary at a home in Fort Mill.
Fort Mill police officers responded to 583 Veloce Trail after receiving a call from the homeowner, Isaac Elder, saying a burglary was in progress at his home.
Elder told officers that he had found two men inside of his house and another man hiding in his garage. Upon arrival, officers took the man in the garage, Gregory Sroka, into custody.
They searched the house, but discovered that the other two men had already fled the scene. Within a few minutes, an officer spotted the men close by and a perimeter was established to contain the suspects until a K9 unit could get there.
After the K9 from the York County Sheriff's office arrived, the men were taken into custody. They have been identified as Bradley Sutton and Charles Wright II.
Following an investigation into the incident, officers determined that Sutton and Wright had actually entered the home around 3:00 a.m. that morning an stayed there for several hours collecting a substantial amount of property, valued at $6,700.
Around 4:00 p.m. the same day, Sutton and Wright returned to the home with Sroka where they stayed until Elder found them.
Multiple arrest warrants were obtained by FMPD detectives and served on Sutton, Wright, and Sroka. Fort Mill police have recovered about $6,000 worth of the $6,700 worth of property originally taken.
Sroka secured a $10,000 bond and was released from custody. Sutton and Wright currently remain in custody at the York County Detention Center, both on a $40,000 bond.
