3 students taken to the hospital with minor injuries in school bus crash

- Three children were transported to the hospital with minor injuries following a school bus crash in Rock Hill. 

The accident happened Thursday afternoon at Haigler Street and West Main. It involved a pickup truck and school bus. 

Officers said the accident involved bus #78 which was transporting students from York Road Elementary School near the intersection of Cherry Road and Main Street. 

Three students, ages 5, 7, and 11, sustained minor injuries in the crash. Of those three children with minor injuries, one parent was on scene and the parents of the other two children were being contacted directly by the school principal, Patrick Robinson.

A Blackboard phone message was sent to families with children on the bus. 

Both drivers were unharmed. No one has been charged.

Police continue to investigate this crash.
