GASTON COUNTY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Four people have been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting Thursday morning in Gaston County, police said.
Officers say David Keith Bridges, 24, James Lee Flanagan, 26, Amanda Kelly Hoppel, 25 and Jordan William Gigee, 28, have all been arrested and charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and first-degree kidnapping.
Around 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 7 Gaston Police were called to Ivey Dr. near Humphrey Blvd. for a report of a possible shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a man laying dead in the middle of the road. The victim was identified as 30-year-old David Joseph Yates II of Lincolnton.
A Medical Examiner was spotted leaving the scene around 11:30 a.m.
Detectives immediately began investigating and identified a possible suspect vehicle. The car was later found by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office near Grover, North Carolina. The four suspects were all inside of the car and were detained on scene.
Police said all of the suspects had varying degrees of associations with each other and the victim. All four suspects are being held without bond in the Gaston County Jail.
