Charlotte officials give update on Services during Winter Weather

Charlotte city officials say they're working through several car accidents, power outages and other winter weather related issues to keep the city running. Many departments within the city and county are closed Friday, including schools, all court sessions, solid waste pickup;

Officials are urging people to stay home unless they have an emergency. Mayor Jennifer Roberts says they're anticipating roads to ice, which would make driving more hazardous.

Winter weather is expected all day. Everyone in FOX 46 WJZY's viewing area is under a winter storm warning through Saturday evening.
