Police officers dance, game with at-risk teens

- The York County Public Library is teaming up with the Rock Hill Police Department for a one-of-a-kind game night for at risk teens.

Once a month, the library is bringing in officers to play a wide range of games with the teenagers. It all started after the library was given around $1,000 through a state grant for games.

The library says it's an opportunity for teens to see the men and woman behind the blue uniforms.

"And it's been a great way to kind of break that barrier between police officers and teens," York County Public Library's Abbie Townson said.
